Al-Gamal for Engineering was founded in 1999 in Sana’a, Yemen by its founder Dr. Gamal Hazza under the name Al_Mutahidoon. The company was established with the aim of participating in the development of Yemen by providing professional engineering services. It is mainly established and structured to fulfill the specific needs of public utilities, community services, industrial facilities, and infrastructure projects. Over the years, the company has successfully completed several projects.

In 2007, the company's name was changed to Al-Gamal for Engineering. The company's activities cover structural, electrical, mechanical engineering, and evaluation of the environmental impact of different projects. Al-Gamal for Engineering also carries out construction management and construction supervision of projects to ensure budget limitations, time-schedule obligations, and quality control. The company utilizes the most modern computer technology and the necessary software, word processing, desktop publishing, and information management systems.

Dr. Gamal Hazza has a long and impressive employment history in the power engineering field. He started his career as a Power System Operation Engineer and 132/33 kV substation operator at RasKatnib Steam Power Station in Hodaidah, Yemen, from 1984 to 1988. He then moved on to the National Control Centre, PEC, Sana’a, where he held the positions of Studies Senior Engineer, Power system Control Engineer ( SCADA), and Consultant of National Control Centre from 1991 to 2009. In 1998, he also started working as a consultant for PEC, Sana’a. In 2009, he moved to the Faculty of Engineering, Sana’a University, Yemen, where he served as Vice Dean for 3 years. From 2009 until 2021, he worked with the Faculty of Engineering, Albaha University, KSA, where he served as Head of Elec. Eng. Department for 7 years.

Dr. Gamal Hazza has a wealth of experience in power engineering, with a focus on SCADA and control systems. He also held senior leadership positions in academia and industry. This makes him a highly qualified and experienced engineer with a strong track record of success.
